So after months of planning and anticipating, the wedding weekend arrived! First the bridesmaids and family members met the bride for manicures and pedicures.

Then later that evening, we headed to St. Louis de Montfort for the rehearsal. Everything went smoothly, except for Reid running laps around the church while we were all trying to rehearse. I think it just affirmed the decision for him to not be in the wedding. No offense, Reid! We love you!
Luckily Doug and Marsha came to take our kids out to eat and then back to our house to go to bed so they could be well rested for the big wedding day. That also meant that Joel and I could enjoy a night out with other adults. :)
I love when Mary asked Holly to be her daughter-in-law. It was so sweet!
Then Mary had Brian his sister, Katie, each read a letter that they had written to the other. They had been in a fight, and their letters were pretty funny!
Mary shared a few items, like Brian's first pair of boots, a blanket, and then a picture of Holly and Brian when they were both about 5 or 6.
We were thrilled that Aunt Susie was able to come all the way from California for the wedding.
After a lovely evening, it was time to call it a night so we could get ready for the big day!
