"Are you sinking what I'm sinking?" (Are you thinking what I'm thinking?)

One day I said to Reese and Ryan, "Hey, guys--let's talk about a plan."
Reid said, "Wet's spwit up and wook for cwues!" (Let's split up and look for clues!)

Other lines he's taken from "Scooby Doo" are:
"Mind meld!"
"It's da woodsman! He's real! Run!"
**********************************************
I was talking to Reid about having to go to the doctor, and he said, "I go to da doctor and get some shoots!"

Reid will occasionally salute and say, "Aye-aye, Captain!"

Joel brought Reid downstairs one morning and handed Reid to me so we could cuddle. Reid put his head on my shoulder for about 20 seconds, and then he picked his head up and looked at me. He asked me, "Do you wanna see my be-wee button?"
I said, "Yes! How did you know that I wanted to see your belly button?!"
He then lifted up his shirt to show it to me, and we both had a good belly laugh. Get it? Belly laugh??

"Sure." That's Reid's number one response lately. It can either be said with excitement as in "Sure!" but can also be said with a shrug of the shoulders like, "Sure." Here are some examples:
"Reid, do you want some chocolate milk?" "Sure!"
"Reid, did you have a great time at the pool?" "Sure."
"Reid, did you have a great time at the pool?" "Sure."
"Reid, do like Scooby Doo?" "Sure!"
Of course he doesn't agree with everything. I recently asked him for a hug and he said, "No, danks."

Reid cannot make the "l" sound and instead pronounces it like a "y." Examples:
"I yove you."
"I yove you."
"I hurt my yeg."
"Yet's go!"
"I yike it!"
"Just a yittle bit?"
"I need to yick it!"
*************************************************
Lately Reid is becoming more assertive. His recent phrases are: "I quit it!" and "I outta here!" It's hard not to laugh when he says these phrases--especially when he's strapped into his carseat. It's not like he can go anywhere...

I'm sure there are countless others that I'm forgetting about, so I'll have to come back and add to this list as I remember more. ;) We yove our yittle Reid!
